Antique silver anklet

A beautifully simple, elegant, heavy bracelet worn by the Rashaida nomadic women who live in the border region between Sudan, Eritrea and Ethiopia, where they moved to about 150 years ago from Saudi Arabia. This bracelet looks as if it is more Egyptian in style than Arab, and may have been bought for a woman by her husband travelling to the north of Sudan or Egypt.
