Antique Silver Sudanese Wedding Ornamentation

An amazing example of an extremely rare, antique, traditional Sudanese silver bridal ornamentation, worn as a long necklace. The silver discs are granulated and engraved by hand. The large and small silver balls and dangles are each domed by hand and then soldered together to create hollow balls which spread themselves magnificently across the centre of the body. An exquisite and truly unique piece. In all my years of collecting, this is one of the most unusual and rare items I have found. It has been in my own collection since 1991. A museum quality item of jewellery that can be worn as a high impact, stunningingly modern display.
