Necklace, Antique double black chevrons off 3-strand vintage beads

This necklace is made of two extremely rare 17th century Venetian Chevron beads, sourced in Venice itself. Their elegance and technical refinement makes these among the most treasured of antique trading beads. Chevrons were a favourite of African chiefs who wore them with lion's teeth and other amulets to demonstrate their power and virility. In this modern-design necklace they are combined with vintage Czech glass seed beads. Only 2 necklaces available, heirloom pieces.
