Necklace, Vintage Czech fat glass beads

This necklace is made using fat vintage 19th century Czech glass beads (beads about 1 cm long and 1 cm wide) from Bohemia which has a glass-making history dating back to the tenth century. These particular beads are often called sweetie beads for obvious reasons, or Fulani beads because they are valued and worn by the Fulani of West Africa. Strung with multi-coloured frosted glass seed beads. Pewter hand-cast clasp. Packaged with travel pouch.
