About Hanan Yanny

Since birth, I have lived, worked and travelled extensively in many areas of the world. I do not really belong to any one country, and consider myself to be a global citizen. I am an Egyptian woman, born in Saudi Arabia, raised between the UK and Nigeria and lived and worked in South Africa from 1994 – 2009. I have now moved back to the UK and live in the beautiful city of Oxford. I am married to a lovely South African, Simon Ratcliffe and we have two fabulous kids, Julian, aged 15 and Amy aged 10.

Since 1997, I have run a small ethical business from home designing and producing jewellery. I source top-quality handmade beads from Africa and beyond to create into unique, highly individual items for the modern woman who knows what she likes.
